"Gods, Muertos y Alebrijes"
This collection of linocut prints is an exploration of Mexico City themes deeply rooted in Mexican folklore and tradition, specifically evoking the spirit of Día de los Muertos. Titled "Gods, Muertos y Alebrijes," the series delves into a rich tapestry of cultural symbolism, bringing to life elements from ancient deities, the beloved imagery of the Day of the Dead, and the fantastical, vibrant forms of alebrijes.
The "Gods, Muertos y Alebrijes" series is a vibrant homage to heritage, presented through the robust and expressive language of traditional printmaking. It's my favorite holiday of the year.
